I do have Facebook, Twitter, Orkut and several other online identities, but to be honest, I'm just not so convinced about its utility as a 'friend maker' or 'networker'. Twitter does act as a rather efficient live news feed from troubled parts (Mumbai attacks, Iran protests) but seriously. Who cares if you're wearing a red shirt? I never got that aspect of it.
